One Week Countdown
Good afternoon!
We've got one week to go until Swim Team season officially starts! I apologize in advance for so many recent emails. Soon, we will be communicating exclusively through Swimtopia and all emails will be sent through that platform. Please familiarize yourself with this Swimtopia. It's a wonderful tool that has a lot of information and will answer many questions! As we mentioned earlier in the spring, our main goals for the swim team season are for the children to become stronger, more confident swimmers, to be an awesome experience, and for it also to be a time to build community through our swimmers. We hope you will join us in these efforts!
Below is the practice and meet schedule for the summer. Please make note of these times (first few weeks are afternoon practices and then we switch to morning practices once school is out).

Below are some ground rules for meets and practices. Please go over these with your swimmers and familiarize yourself.
Practices; Please have your swimmer arrive at the main pool gate (under clubhouse) 5 minutes prior to their swim practice start
time to line up. Swimmers can enter pool gates only when the coach lets them in. Parents/siblings/nannies are not allowed on the pool deck during practice for safety reasons. Swimmers wear a bathing suit (any bathing suit), sunscreen and bring goggles and a towel.
Meets; They are organized chaos at it's finest! Come down, support your swimmer and cheer on your neighbors. At home meets we leave the parking lot for our guests so please consider walking down or parking on surrounding streets. Please park on one side of the street (we will have signs). At home meets you can set up on the pool deck in between the pool and baby pool (bring a chair) and at away meets we will sit in a designated area determined by the opposing team.
Please reach out with any questions and see y'all next Monday! millglenswimteam5565@
